To be able to work is a gift……
There is a difference between work done merely to earn a living, and work done out of true enjoyment and devotion. The latter doesn’t ask for a wage because it desires to be done regardless; there are no days off and no retirement, nor is any of this asked for. This is something truly rare and difficult to find, but is worth every second of the search. Good work is like a type of play. When the work being done is like serious play……
….that’s when an individual is doing exactly what they are supposed to. Nothing will yield better results. This is the animating spirit of true art. When work is genuine and done for the right reasons; it’s self evident for all to see.
Find what you truly value, what you genuinely enjoy and do that… do it relentlessly and unapologetically with a destination - a goal in mind. Let shortcuts, convenience, and immediate gratification be damned to hell. They are for the weak..
Do what you love and do it well…
